Integration with Ozcart

Ozcart is pre-integrated with both the legacy Commonwealth Bank CommWeb Server Based Payments (MIGS) and newer MPGS (MasterCard Payment Gateway Services Platforms). Once you have signed up an account with CommWeb, you will receive a series of passwords. All you need to do is enter these codes into your Ozcart website.

 

You can set your CommWeb account into testing mode prior to going live, and test your website with specific testing credit cards and transaction values. That way you can see how successful and failed transactions will work in your store from your customer’s perspective and ensure that the orders come through to you.

Note: You need to use CommWeb for your payments and not BPOINT to integrate with Commonwealth Bank. BPOINT is a standalone system and cannot be integrated with other shopping cart software like Ozcart.

CommWeb is an all-in-one merchant and gateway solution provided by Commonwealth Bank. You will only have one provider between your bank account and your Ozcart shopping cart website.

Getting Set up

CommWeb have a security and business process questionnaire that you will need to complete before being approved. This is a declaration about your business processes and includes some questions about our server software and security. We can assist customers with completing this part of the questionnaire.

CommWeb will need to see your site to verify certain content on it before you can go live so what many customers do is set up their site using bank transfer or Paypal initially and then provide Commonwealth Bank a link to review before they go live.
